Oh my my…how time flies.

It’s been such a long time since I had any time or energy to write about much. I work 40 hours a week but many days it feels that I’m coming home from 12 or 14 hour days. I have little to no energy and little desire to do anything. I guess that’s a side effect of getting your face rocked at work for a solid 8 hours. I’ve always heard the saying “Never spread yourself too thin” only applied to life in general, not work. But it’s definately possible. When I’m not answering phonecalls, I’m prepping a shipment to go out, when I’m not doing that, I’m calling customers to update them about their cars, when I’m not doing that I’m calling all over the place to find specific parts. When I’m not doing that I’m typically in a bathroom crying.

What? I didn’t mean that. But yeah, I don’t know. I love my job but there has to be a better way. I don’t know, I’m sure I’ll figure it all out. It’s almost like serving, in a way..except much more stressful because now people are relying on me to get everything squared away on their investment/livelihood. You should see my notebook, it’s written in code that I can barely understand…it’s beautiful.

Oh, last night I was crusing around in my RX-7 (LS1 swap) and I pulled next to a patio that my friends were at. As I park and walk onto the patio to talk to my friends and apparently there was a girl who when I cruised by said this gem..

It’s a Mazda, a japanese car. With an American V8 in it…there’s nothing remotely Italian about that car. It did make me laugh though.
